Who we are

Sól is a journaling and wellness app. Contact: [email protected]

What data we process

• Journal content (scripting entries, evidence log, favorites, profile: first name, chosen focus areas, tone, intention). Stored locally on your device and — for sync — in our database hosted with Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
• Voice recordings of affirmations stay on your device only and are never uploaded.
• Account: we use anonymous authentication — no email or password is required to use Sól.
• AI features (Premium): when you generate a personalized affirmation or premium audio, the text you enter is processed server-side by our providers Anthropic (text) and ElevenLabs (audio) as processors, and a copy of your request is kept for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. It is deleted with your account.
• Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, no sale of data.
• No profiling; your journal is yours alone.

Legal basis (GDPR)

Processing is based on performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for core features and your consent for optional features. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Your rights

You can export all your data (Settings → Export my data) and permanently delete your account and all server data (Settings → Delete all my data) at any time — the deletion is immediate and cascades through all our systems. You also have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Retention

Data is kept until you delete it or your account. Anonymous accounts with no data can be purged periodically.
